Lex Poolos is a designer, art director, and educator who thrives on wearing many hats. By day, they’re an in-house senior designer for the city and adjunct professor at UNC Charlotte. By night, they’re a community organizer hosting queer parties, building lesbian archives, and playing trombone with the Charlotte Pride Band. Lex also happens to run marathons for fun. Their work often explores activism, accessibility, and user experience, all grounded in the belief that design can cultivate stronger, more inclusive communities.

Fabulous designer! Love working with Lex. There can often be a struggle to hold the "creative vision" in the "mind's eye" -- not so with Lex! They have a way of holding and shaping the vision so beautifully and anticipating a design need, often even before the client realizes they may need it. It is so refreshing to work with Lex and co-create a vision together. Oh, and did I mention: Quick turnarounds without sacrificing quality!!!
